I wrote this poem in 2011 during a flare-up of my Fibromyalgia.    Please note that the symptoms of Fibromyalgia can vary from person to person, and from day-to-day.

Knots, burning, tingling,  pain,

pressure, anxiety,  loss of my brain.

Fatigue, fuzziness, uncertainty, shame,

anger, resentment, indecision, blame.

Out of control, sad and confused,

reluctant,  unabated,  no way  to choose.

A life of uncertainty, filled with doubt

Like being trapped in a well unable to climb out!
